Alex Miceli

Alex Miceli, a.k.a. AlexofAllTrades, is an award-winning playwright, fiction writer, and poet, and formerly an English composition instructor at a university. Alex left academia but started a blog called The Empathetic Writer, where she explored social and political ideas as well as writing issues in all genres. In 2018, she moved from print to video when she started her YouTube channel AlexofAllTrades, which began with entertainment review content, going over books, movies, TV shows, and games. The channel morphed into live stream let's plays over the years with Alex streaming five days a week. Starting in 2020, Alex joined two other YouTube channels through book clubs, Caleb Beers and Unsafe Space. In 2021, 451 Degrees, an anti-censorship podcast, was born on Unsafe Space. In what little free time Alex has, she loves to read or watch TV while playing video games or listen to music while reading braindead romance novels. She loves a good laugh and takes civil liberties, free will, and personal responsibility very seriously. When she wants to know about something, she researches until she has a full understanding of the topic.
