Miguel Samuel

Miguel Samuel was born in Pieta, Malta, to Maria Angelle Samuel (Schembri) and Carmelo Samuel. His paternal grandparents lived in Senglea and were of American descent. He lives with his parents and younger brother - Liam Samuel. Miguel studies Theatre Studies and Communication Studies at the University of Malta. Being interested in theatre and the performing arts from a very young age, Miguel attended a number of drama schools and completed several courses in Malta. In 2020 his TikTok account solidified his spot in the local spotlight with over 12,000 followers and over 2,000,000 views shared across his videos of the infamous and beloved character of Xilowna. In May 2020, went on to win a Lovin Malta Social Media Award for Best TikToker of the Year. In December 2020, Miguel made his TV debut in the sitcom Illahwa as Glenn.
