Pedar Garred

Born and raised on a sheep farm in rural Pennsylvania, Pedar Garred is a burgeoning actor and producer who's dedicated to learning the film and TV industry from every angle. He, like many discovered a love for acting in grade school when he was cast as the lead news-caster in a school play. In school, he always found himself blamed for class disturbances when he would tell a classmate a (only slightly fabricated) funny story. Over time, he discovered that he could put all of that energy and desire to tell stories into forming a character on stage and being part of a larger story. As the youngest of six children in a very busy household, acting always felt like the one thing that just made sense and he could hold people's attention captive, if only for an hour or so. After school, Pedar attended college at the University of Pittsburgh where he majored in theatre arts. There he took part in several MainStage and lab productions, as well as classes at Donna Belajac Actor's Studio under the guidance of the incomparable Jill Wadsworth. During his time in school, Pedar secured his first agency contract at Docherty agency and had the opportunity to audition for a few of the larger productions that came through the city at the time. In his senior year, Pedar secured a job as an office PA on Showtime's (now Amazon Freevee's) 'American Rust'. After the wrap of his first production and simultaneous college graduation, Pedar moved to Brooklyn, NY where he lives with his partner and their English Bulldog, Dave. He works as the assistant to the line producer and co-exec producer / producing director of 'Law & Order.'
