Davis Murphy has been charming people since toddlerhood, but took an interest in acting at age 5 when hearing about a casting call on the radio. Davis has been a student of Cathryn Sullivan's Acting For Film, a nationally recognized acting studio, since age 5 and is also privately coached by Donald Rey (ACT. ED.). He is best known for his role as Delbert Bumpus in "A Christmas Story Christmas" and his starring role as Cole in the film "Looking for Dr. Love" which are both expected to be released in 2022. Davis attends a private school where he is a part of their Spanish Immersion program, and is consequently fluent in Spanish. In his free time, he enjoys Taekwondo, piano, baseball, traveling, and video gaming. You can find Davis on Instagram @davismurphy13. "Davis Murphy is a rare talent. At the age of 8, he is totally tuned in to the concept of acting on film. He not only knew all his lines but everyone else's as well. He could make adjustments on a dime and understood the nuances we were looking for. Beyond that, Davis is a sweet, polite kid who was a joy to be around, on and off set. If he sticks with it he has a bright future ahead of him." - Peter Foldy, Writer/Director "Looking for Dr. Love"
