Emerson MacNeil is a fun, loving, confident girl born in 2010 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Emerson is represented by Sky Talent Group Ltd. based out of Halifax and began her acting career at age 8 in musical theatre. Her passion for acting quickly transitioned to local and National commercials, PSA's and over the years has held guest star, principal, and actor roles in film and television. Emerson is most known for her roles on the CBC sketch comedy show This Hour Has 22 Minutes for season's 26, 27, and 28 and in 2021 .... Emerson has received multiple award nominations for acting over the last couple of years. Emerson won a Joey Award (2019), two Nova Star awards (2020, 2021) and most recently was awarded the John Dunsworth Award (2021) for continuing on-line education with LeBlanc School of Acting in Vancouver, BC. Emerson is also an active entrepreneur and received a youth award in 2019 from the Family Business Association for her business Beach Coast Earrings. When not busy with school or acting, Emerson enjoys singing, swimming, playing soccer, horse back riding, downhill skiing, jazz dance, biking, rollerblading, and recently has started playing bass guitar. If she isn't busy with these extracurricular activities, you will find Emerson playing with her friends or just spending time with her dog and family.
