Anna Török

Anna Török born on March 6, 1997. She is a filmmaker from Budapest, Hungary. She graduated from the Media faculty of Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in 2020. From 2022 she is an MA student at the Film Arts faculty of Rome University of Fine Arts in Italy. For her graduation project she had the opportunity to create her first narrative short film as a writer-director called Day-in day-out. In the year of 2021 it had been selected to film festivals from all over the world. The premier was in Trieste as a part of ShorTS International Film Festival, in one competition with Cannes-winning and nominated works of European Film Awards. At the Roma Short Film Festival she got her first award: a 'Honorable Mention' in the main category. At the American New York Tri-State Film Festival it was the 'Best Narrative Short Film'. In the Santo Domingo Global Film Festival names such as Pedro Almodóvar and Thomas Vinterberg were also among the competitors in January, 2022.
