Aadnan Rahaman was born on 5th September, 1983, in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He is a filmmaker who graduated in Film & Media from Stamford University. He is a storyteller, dreamer, achiever, empath, and a kind person who has a strong and persistent desire to improve society and people's lives through his creative works and films. After completing the 2nd Grade, Aadnan enrolled in a boarding school named "Dhaka Residential Model School" in 1991. He passed his S.S.C. in 1999 in Humanities Studies from the same school. At this boarding school, he found his passion for sports and athletics. Some of his favorite sports and athletics include cricket, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, soccer, and track & field. During his years at the boarding school, he was selected for the role of 'Prefect' several times, and that's when he found out that he was an excellent strategic and motivational leader. Later, Aadnan decided to turn his skill into his career, realizing that being a creative leader would help him to guide and lead a team to make quality films and projects. In 2002, he passed his H.S.C from "Dhaka College" in Humanities Studies. After that, he acquired dual Diploma in Graphic Design and 3D Animation from "Arena Multimedia" in 2004. He also earned a scholarship for excellent performance in Graphics Design and 3D Animation. Soon, he joined a company called "Thunderbolt" as a part-time Graphic Designer. During this period, he won several International Web Awards for Video Editing. He filmed his first work as a director-editor of a music video for the winner of a renowned singing competition while he was still a Film student. In addition, he made several student short films during that time. Next, he joined a firm called "White Shark Communication" as a Multimedia Expert, where he had to deal with Graphics, A/V Presentation, and Web Design. Then, after a year, he joined an advertising agency called "Benchmark," where he worked as a part-time Web Designer. Later that year, he worked with another production company called "Half Stop Down" as a freelance Title Animator. His work there mainly involved animating the company logo. In 2010, he earned his B. A. degree from Stamford University in Film and Media. While working in advertising agencies, Aadnan grew a deep interest in advertising, and he acquired intensive knowledge on advertising through studies and research. He then decided to enter the diverse world of innovative ideas, creativity, and marketing. He then founded his own production house called "Resollusion". It came from the slogan that Aadnan created, "RESolute Your ILLUSION". Although his production house mostly made advertisements, music videos, and documentaries, being a Film student, he has always longed to make films that will help positively impact society at large. Aadnan Rahaman's works include IBSYS Telecom TV Commercial, as director and editor (2009), Polar Ice Cream TV Commercial, as director and editor (2009), Resollusion Promotional Video, as director, producer, editor, and colorist (2011), Srabondhara Music Video, as director, editor, and colorist (2012), Volunteer Work of CSC Ltd with Operation Smile; Short documentary, as director, producer, editor, cinematographer and writer (2015), Mahindra Maxximo Plus VX TV Commercial; Short Video, as director, editor, and cinematographer (2015), Mahindra Bolero Maxitruck Plus TV Commercial; Short Video, as director, editor, cinematographer and colorist (2015) and A Tale of a Dreamer: RANGS AV (Short), as director, editor, cinematographer and writer (2017). Aadnan has extensive knowledge of filmmaking. In addition, he has detailed understanding of Video Editing and Photography, which he started as hobbies. Other than that, his interests include listening to music, watching films from around the world, and reading books. He is also deeply interested in philosophy, world religion, and politics. He passionately believes and lives by the word, "Live and let live."
