Svetozar Lazovic Gongo was born on August 12, 1952 in Velika Jezevica, Serbia, Yugoslavia. He was a very popular trumpet player and brass band leader, probably most well known for documentary Guca, the Capital of the Trumpet (2005) and TV show Folk Majstori (1990) or for the songs used in a cult film Moj tata na odredjeno vreme (1982) and 60 najlepsih narodnih pesama (2017) TV show. Svetozar was released 11 studio albums, 7 singles, live CD "Blehmuzika" (1989) with his most popular tracks "Uzicko kolo" and "Seva" and several compilations. He was one of the most successful performers at Guca Trumpet Festival with 9 wins in all four categories. He died on December 27, 2001 in Velika Jezevica, Serbia.
