French dancer born in Rome in 1991 from a Congolese mother and an Italian father. She began dancing at the age of 6 in Melun, at the Conservatoire de Musique et de Danse "Les Deux Muses". For eight years she trained at the Paris Opera Ballet School and joined the Paris Opera Corps de Ballet in 2009. In 2019 she was appointed "Sujet" (equivalent to Soloist) and won an AROP Dance Prize. She was the first mixed race soloist dancer to take lead roles at the Paris Opera (Lise in Frederick Ashton "La Fille Mal Gardée" and the role of The Chosen in the "Sacre De Printemps" by Pina Bausch). She dances in both classical and modern productions, her long contemporary repertoire includes works for directors such as Wayne McGregor, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Damien Jalet, Benjamin Millepied, Justin Peck, Angelin Preljocaj and Crystal Pite.
