Karthik Kal

Karthik was born in Santa Clara, California where father, Raju, and mother, Anu, were both software engineers in the growing tech industry. Karthik has a younger brother, Abhi. In 2008, the family moved to Austin, Texas where Karthik was active in basketball and baseball. He enjoyed singing and dancing within the Hip Hop and Bollywood music realm. He is also fluent in Telugu which is one of the languages spoken in South India. In High School, Karthik began studying acting with Juilliard trained and experienced movie actress: Mona Lee Fultz. He spent 4 years at the University of Texas at Dallas and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Information Technology and Systems just in case his dream of acting doesn't pan out. Having accomplished his degree, Karthik is back actively engaged in film acting training and auditioning. His favorite actors are Jake Gyllenhaal, Dev Patel, Robert Pattinson, and Meryl Streep. Karthik hopes to open his own production company that supports people of color in the industry with TV, indie, and feature films.
