Eduard Admetlla i Lázaro (Barcelona, January 10, 1924 - October 8, 2019) was a diver and one of the pioneers of underwater exploration in Catalonia and Spain. Inventor of waterproof cameras, inventor of a prototype scuba diver, tester of diving equipment for the house Nemrod, director of television series and propagator. He was president of the Catalan Federation of Underwater Activities and promoter of the Center for Underwater Recovery and Research. He was also an honorary member of the Historical Diving Society Spain. In 2018, he received the Creu of Sant Jordi of Catalunya "for his valuable contribution to underwater exploration as the inventor of watertight boxes for cameras and a prototype scuba diver"
