Kathryn Kendall

Studied acting at HB Studio with Stephen Strimpell and Uta Hagen, voice with Gonzalo Madurga. After BA and MA in English, earned PhD in theatre history at University of Texas in Austin. Taught at Smith College (MA), was Senior Fulbright Scholar teaching Theatre of the Oppressed in Lesotho 1992-94, Head of Department at University of KwaZulu-Natal (South Africa)1995-99. Buddhist activist dismantling white supremacy and capitalism, people's photographer for social justice.
