Aleksandra Sykulak

Aleksandra (b. 1992) is a Polish screenwriter and documentary director, based in London. She graduated from The National Film and Television School (MA Screenwriting) and University College London (BA Film Studies). Before pursuing screenwriting Aleksandra worked in script development and on international co-productions development teams. She is a graduate of Wajda School's documentary programme DokPro, where she developed a short documentary film "In a Knot" about her grandparents' turbulent marriage. The film premiered during an Oscar-qualifying Kraków Film Festival in 2021.
