Ravin's unlikely journey to training NBA and WNBA superstars along with his unconventional methods has been the subject of lengthy features in the Wall Street Journal, Men's Journal, Men's Health, Men's Fitness, Sports Illustrated, the New York Times, the New York Post, the New Yorker, the Boston Globe, and Forbes, among others. Ravin has also been featured on television & radio, including "The Revolution" & "Extreme Makeover Body Edition" on ABC, NBA Inside Stuff, NBA Inside Access, NBA Fit, NBA Real TV, ESPN, Nike/Brand Jordan commercials & documentaries, Playboy Radio, CBS Sports, ESPN Radio, NPR, etc. Hoping to inspire others, Ravin penned, The Hoops Whisperer, published by Penguin Books, which was well-received and featured in the Boston Globe, the New York Post, Men's Fitness, SLAM, among others. In 2021, he debuted, It Takes Patience, to encourage children to find their voice. Later that year, he released, Harmonica -- an uplifting story that follows the journey of an unemployed Rabbi working at a reform school for troubled teens. A sports coordinator/creative consultant for the HBO series, Winning Time, along with sports inspired national commercials for global brands, such as Nike, Nike Jordan Brand, Right Guard, Sprite, Samsung, Gatorade, Adidas, Degree, State Farm, NBA, Wells Fargo, Budweiser, Beats, Door Dash, among others, with notable production companies, such as Cool Water, Smuggler, Bob Industries, Directors Bureau, MJZ and The Mill, and directors, including Adam McKay, Rupert Saunders, Jonathan & Valerie Farris, Brian Beletic, Damian Marcano, Payman Benz, Tanya Hamilton, Patrick Daughters, Sally Richardson-Winfield, and Paul Mitchell. Ravin holds a Masters of Science, Kinesiology, a Juris Doctor (law degree), a Bachelors of Science, Finance, and a Bachelors of Science, Marketing.
