Christopher J. Thomas

Christopher Thomas is an up and coming independent film director and screenwriter based in Los Angeles, CA. Ever since he was little, the arts have been an integral part of his life, with all of his family members being extremely talented in various art forms. He grew up with his mother as an art teacher/watercolor artist and his father and sister exuding their gifts in the culinary arts 24/7. Having these artistic influences drove Christopher at a young age to explore what medium fit him best, and by the end of middle school, filmmaking had grabbed his attention. He began to use the medium of film and writing to express what he was going through during his teen years and throughout high school found solace in collaborating with friends and writing original content. Having taken film class all 4 years of high school, Christopher discovered that being a film director and screenwriter intrigued him the most, enabling him to tell his own original stories. Now having moved to Los Angeles in 2019 to attend Columbia College Hollywood, Christopher has found his reason for making films: uplifting and helping the next generation of teenagers and young adults with his coming of age/teen romance films. His passion for making films that are relevant and resonates with the younger generation is what drives him to achieve success in the film industry. In the 3+ years of being in Los Angeles, Christopher has written and directed two original films The Brave Generation (2021) and Young Romantics (2022), both in the coming of age genre. Having been blessed to make some great connections and build his talented team of filmmakers, Christopher is excited for what the future holds and is ready to tell more stories in hopes of helping the next generation of teenagers and young adults.
