Katy Suutari

Katy Suutari was born in Nyon, Switzerland, to a Finnish mother and a Portuguese father. Katy fell in love with theater at a very early age and joined theater school at the age of seven, in Geneva, Switerland. At nine years old, she got her first professional experience, on the opera The Bartered Bride, on the stage of the Grand Théâtre de Genève. She performed on theater stages throughout her teenage years and into her thirties. In 2011, Katy moved to Helsinki, Finland, where she met her husband and father of her child. At the age of 34, Katy Suutari decided to become a professional actress and got into the Actors Academy Finland acting school. After graduating in October 2020, she started to appear in Finnish productions as an extra, in commercials and then TV show roles (Transport, Kakarat, Syke, Salatut Elämät).
