Özge Sofia Aldynay Brandt was born in Tabriz, Iran. She is of Turkic (Azerbaijani Iranian) and Nordic (German) descent. Özge has transitioned in her early 20s and has always had an interest in the performing arts. As a Transgender Actress, Model and Transgender Rights Advocate she is determined to occupy spaces where Transgender people have largely been excluded from. Transgender visibility and representation is important, especially in the media and film industry. Özge has made her acting debut in the upcoming Amazon Prime series The Power.
