LaFayette Bell Sr. aka " Sgt. Bell the Rapper " is known for Wannabe a Star 2022. He was born Jan. 1, 1966 in Dover, De. raised in Felton, De. graduating from Lake Forest high School in 1985. The son of divorced parents he also spent some of his childhood summer 's in Trenton, N.J. when he wasn't working in the field 's of Kent County, De. farms picking tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, and peaches. LaFayette Bell Sr aka " Sgt. Bell the Rapper " appeared on Netflix House of Cards seasons 5 & 6 as a featured background actor. His role was a member of the Congressional Black Caucus. He became famous from a grimace he made in the season 5 ,chapter 58 CBC meeting room scene. As " Sgt. Bell the Rapper " he's written, directed, produced, and performed in his own You-Tube Toys for Tots music, and videos to promote Toys for Tots on a National, Regional, and Local level. One of his song's features the Late Great Nat King Cole. His stage name Sgt. Bell stems from his 8 years as a U.S. Marine Reservist from 1991 thru 1999. As a Gulf War Era U.S. Marine he handled different assault small arms, bulk fuel, and was also a company level Combat Photographer. His second wife named Sadie who he's currently estranged from was born and raised Old Order Pennsylvania Amish and LaFayette Bell Sr. lived in a Kentucky Amish community for 7 days in 1999 with his In-Laws, and was given opportunity to join an Indiana Amish group.
