William Cody Critcher was born in Raleigh NC in 1997. He attended public schools and was dedicated to and excelled in organized team sports with an emphasis on baseball. Cody exhibited a subtle but restrained interest in acting during this time frame which conflicted somewhat with his significant baseball success and ambitions. However, as a result of increased exposure to school theater productions and with the support of his friends and encouragement from his parents, Cody gradually became more attracted to acting. He was a member of the drama club in middle school and participated in several productions. Baseball was still his primary activity in high school but he continued to participate in various acting projects including co directing an original school play. Cody attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA in Communication Studies, with focus on video production and event planning. Due to a serious injury requiring surgery soon after graduation coinciding with the Covid Pandemic, Cody took a gap year to recover and to reflect on his future. He concluded that his true passion was with a career in acting and production. He moved to Atlanta in 2021 to pursue this objective. Since arriving in Atlanta, Cody has been active with acting classes, workshops and various parts in student, Indie, and music video projects. Cody's first lead role will be Joshua Crown in the independent feature film Beyond the Survival.
