Bortolato Gabriele (Italy) born in 1996 in Vercelli. Graduated from Alciati Art School in Vercelli, he established a deep connection with cinema and art, continuing his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Turin. From 2014 to 2016 he participated in National contests and festivals including: Coni Italia contest (2014), Diapsi Project (2014). He takes part in Ubisoft's Italian contest "Assassin's Creed - Unity" exhibiting his work at the "Lucca Comics and Games" review (2015), shortly afterwards he exhibits in Milan a graphic work made for the book "I cavalieri del nord" by Matteo Strukul published by Multiplayer Edizioni (2015). He then works as a reporter for the event "Rice Mandala" in Vercelli, succeeded in the Guinness World Records (2015). He writes and directs several short films addressed to national and international film festivals, perceiving a positive response, among them are in evidence: The dance in 1 minute film festival with the short film "Diem" (2018) screened at the cinema Massimo in Turin and later in competition within the "Glocal movie film festival" (2018). He has always tried to combine two passions: cinema and music. Ranking second National place as best original soundtrack composer (2016). He writes and makes his first medium-length film entitled "The Girl on the Cliff" screened at MoviePlanet Group (2017). He then moves towards the final stage of the "Philadelphia Independent film festival" with the short film "Homecoming" (2018) set during WWII. His first film titled "The Tape" Based on the Peter Pan fairy tale, set in a modern context, changing the main guidelines but maintaining the ties and characteristics of the characters. Where there is no true definition of the word "Love" But it is shown in all possible facets. Fear and trauma from a distant past, can resurface in everyday life, creating a mechanism that will lead both protagonists to know, understand and love each other. All this set in a city where there is a worse evil, which oppresses and brings to its knees anyone who stands before it: organized crime. The latter will be the most complex obstacle that Peter and Wendy will have to overcome, a vortex into which they will fall almost unknowingly without ever finding their way back. The project will soon be intended for online streaming viewing. Inland Lights is an experimental film, possessing no guideline that can lead the viewer to ask questions and find answers. But rather it tries to convey the feelings and emotions (positive or negative) by placing the viewer inside a different mind, a mind that suffers, trying to skim the boundaries of a psychic disorder, named: "Borderline Disorder." It obtains several official selections and awards for "Fox International Film Festival," "Golden Short Film Festival," "8 & Halfilm Awards," "Rome international movie awards," "Cefalù Film Festival" (2022).
