Candace Hollingshed was born in Syracuse, New York in June 1987. She is the youngest of 4 children and an ex-military brat. Most of Candace's childhood was spent moving around every 3 years to places such as North Carolina and Okinawa, Japan. Her love for the performing arts started at an early age and then eventually led her to study Mass Communications in college at thee Fort Valley State University. After graduating from college in 2010, Candace kicked off her professional career working as a News and Production Assistant for 13WMAZ-TV in Macon. She later worked as a multi-media specialist for ESE Networks, where she produced and directed promotional videos for clients such as Coldwell Bankers, Southern Company and the Georgia Department of Education. After working 10 years in video production industry, Candace eventually took on the title as an educator. For 5 years, she's been teaching film to high school students in Savannah, GA and now in Warner Robins at the Houston County Career Academy, which she recently opened the district's very first film program. In 2018, Candace had her first taste of acting when she appeared as a background actor on Pop TV's Florida Girls (2017), HULU series The Act (2018), and NBC series Council of Dads (2019).
