Gavin Cazon-Wilkes

Gavin is an Indigenous theatre-trained artist from the Liidlii Kue First Nation island community in Fort Simpson of the Northwest Territories. Gavin is a Bachelor of Arts theatre graduate from the University of Alberta Augustana Faculty, and current Faculty of Law student. Gavin has been involved in the fine arts community as an actor, writer, director, and creator. Gavin enjoys blending Indigenous storytelling and Dene acting practises with the traditional conventions of European colonial performance to use the stage, paper, and screen as a platform for discussion.
