Yash Zhang

Yash (Yifei) Zhang(b. 1999) is an independent filmmaker and art creator from Tengzhou, Shandong, China. He is studying Creative Documentary MFA at University College London, London, UK. He graduated from Rhodes College, Memphis, TN, USA at 2022 with a Theatre and Film&Media Studies degree. In 2019, he was studying filmmaking in New York Film Academy. In 2020, he was studying in Kathmandu, Nepal on documentary making and art activism. He spends most of his time exploring themes about activism, futurism, mental health, post-humanism in his art works. His films are selected by many film festivals including Mao International Film Week, Indie Memphis Film Festival, etc.
