Margarita Ventura

Accustomed to a nomadic life and distant countries since she could recall, Margarita Ventura was born on Saipan Island in the Northern Mariana Islands then relocated to Florida, Nebraska and raised in Kansas City, Missouri for most of her formative years. By the time she was thirteen she had flown on an airplane forty four times between domestic and overseas travel amidst moving was not out of norm for her. She is the daughter of a Filipino mother, Lilian, and a Filipino Spaniard father, Alberto Ventura, both dentists who divorced when she was young, allowing her to breathe art, dance, acting, and a gym lifestyle. At nineteen, she took a plunge and made the brave decision to move to New York City on her own. In order to assure her professional success and personal growth, her mother made the tough decision in making sure nothing was secure and easily given to her. While training at the Alvin Ailey Theatre School and The Actors Institute to become an dancer and actor, Margarita worked at gyms and several event planning companies in order to pay her bills and sustain her life. She also decided to attend and graduate the prestigious Parsons School of Design and has been in entertainment and digital advertising since. Margarita also started to explore yoga and various fitness methods to find her other calling in bodybuilding where she has competed to earn her Top 5 WBFF World Bikini Pro title. Having had a front row seat to stardom throughout her professional career, Margarita saw the bigger picture for her acting and fitness career, in that fame and fortune does not ameliorate her work and passion. She's set out to continue to achieve her goals with a focus on maintaining the pleasure of pursuing what she loves, while honing her crafts and creating art across various mediums at the Actor Class NY and represented by the number one fitness network Generation Iron located in New York.
