Valerie Levine

Valerie Levine is a professional dancer and skater based in New York City. She started dancing at the age of four, studying tap, jazz, and ballet. She continued to dance throughout college where she expanded the styles she studied to Latin/ballroom, Brazilian samba, flamenco, belly dance (and many other styles) primarily at the Broadway Dance Center and Alvin Ailey in New York City. After getting her Bachelors of Science from FIT (Fahion Institute of Technology), she continued to pursue her dance and figure/roller skating career. She currently teaches and performs all over New York City and the try-state area for weekly shows, weddings, birthday parties, etc! She has started her own performance company called "Valerina Dance" featuring Belly Dancing, Brazilian Samba, Flamenco, Ballroom/Latin, Figureskating, rollerskating, plastic ice productions, and much more. She has traveled as far as Cairo, Egypt, Guatemala and Lake Como, Italy for her performances! Valerie has also been competitively figure skating since the age of 11. She spent her summers training at the Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid, New York. By 19, she had passed her gold level test in Moves in the Field, and continues to train and perform with Ice Theater of New York, and various other figure skating companies. She skated as an ice girl at Madison Square Garden for the NHL hockey team the New York Rangers for two years, then to skate for the New York Islanders at the Nassau Coliseum as an ice girl for an additional three years. She has performed in holiday ice shows as well as plastic ice shows along with many Olympians that she had admired as a little girl. She has recently been a featured act with Ice Theatre of New York in a piece called "Arctic Memory" choreographed by Jody Sperling dedicated to raise awareness for global warming which was featured in "Time Out New York" as the best things to see in New York City. . She has co-produced and co-choreographed events such as the "Belly Dance Brunch" and the the "World Extravadanza" at the Highline Ballroom In New York City, as well as the winter daily Ice show at the TWA Hotel at JFK airport. She also is a co-owner of a plastic ice company in which they build synthetic ice rinks to perform and host events on! Valerie has made appearances performing on many television shows such as Bravos' "Housewives of New Jersey", Bravos' "Housewives of Atlanta", Bravos "Summerhouse" and Bravos "Little People". Valerie also appeared in three episodes of Actions Bronsons show on Viceland, and also performs for high profile parties such as the "Met Gala"after party hosted by Elon Musk as well as many celebrity birthday parties such as Alicia Keys, Liza Minnelli and Pele to name a few. Valerie continues to dedicate her life to studying, teaching, choreographing and producing all of these dance/skating styles!
