Daphanie Brown

Daphanie Brown was born in La Grange, Texas to Marilyn (Mahon) Brown and Jerrial Brown. Her first onstage performance was during her Senior year of high school in Drama Theatre class, where she portrayed a character for Romeo & Juliet. After she graduated high school, she decided to enlist in the United States Army in 2008, and honorably served for five years. Upon completion of her military career, she decided to follow her passion of performing arts, and began training at Improv Dallas in 2023, under the direction of Wendy Pennington. During her training, she met and signed with Callidus Agency in Dallas, Texas. In addition to her Improv training, she began training at Baron Brown Studio under the direction of D.W. Brown in Los Angeles, CA as a virtual student, to learn the Meisner technique in 2023. She has also completed several film projects, a TV series episode, and a Live Corporate Event called Ebony-Opoly at The Choctaw Stadium, where she portrayed a slave character named Mary Ann Shad Cary in Arlington, TX under the direction of DeWayne Washington in 2023. She is best known for Proof of Desire (2022), Bounty TV Series (2024), Distinguished Robbers (2024) and The Mourning Of (2024).
