Cassandra Gonzalez (Franco) was born October 9, 1982 in Lamar, Colorado, where she still resides. She was raised by her parents: David Franco, police officer, and Stephanie Culbertson, an LPN. She has been married since 2007, has two children, and lives on a 10 acre horse ranch. She graduated from Lamar High School where she was actively involved in band, choir, and art. She started working in a law office at the age of 16, graduated from college with a criminal justice degree, and has worked for years for the 15th Judicial District of the State of Colorado. For the last four years she has worked as a Collections Investigator for the Court, which she loves because of the great sense of satisfaction when a victim is made whole. She is thrilled to be a part of The Contested Plains, her first acting opportunity. She met many wonderful people who now feel like family. She got the part because she could ride a horse and through her connections from modeling Native American regalia, clothing, and jewelry.
