Baky Dia

Baky DIA (born March 20, 1993) is a French film director, screenwriter, and producer. His debut starts with the Sci-fi short film, YURI (2022). Baky has been raised in a small French village called Saint-Mard by Malian father and mother. At an early age, he developed a keen interest in science, biology and reading, particularly works of anticipation and science fiction. He did a Masters in Paris to become a computer engineer. He works for international companies which allows him to travel and live many new experiences. In 2022, Baky produced and directed his first science fiction project "YURI" and is now working on a second project called "OPHIO".
