Since then, Tyler has played on some of the world's finest stages, collaborating with numerous Grammy, Juno, Academy, and Emmy Award winning artists. In the studio, Tyler has played on a plethora of albums including 2 recent Polaris Prize nominated albums, one of which, Provider, is with his group Bry Webb. As a performing artist, Tyler can be heard on CBC radio 1, 2, 3, as well as a contributor to Bravo television documentaries. Tyler resides in Toronto, Canada, where he performs with many of the country's leading orchestras, as well as a handful of critically acclaimed groups. Tyler's newest passion, film composing, has allowed him to bridge the gap between his own solo projects/bands and the film industry. With two films premiering at international film festivals as well recording the double bass for a documentary that recently screened at the Toronto International Film Festival, Tyler hopes to continue contributing to this exciting field.
