Between 2005 and 2012, he taught Audiovisual Production and Cinema in several vocational schools and private colleges in Lisbon, Portugal. During this time he also instructed primary school courses in multimedia, music and visual arts with a certificate from CAP / IEFP (Certificate of Pedagogical Aptitude Trainer - Institute of Education and Training). He obtained a Degree in Cinema from the Lisbon Theatre & Film School in 2010 and he has been producing, directing and editing film and video for over a decade. Was invited to the Lusofona University of Lisbon as a guest instructor in 2010, where he provided training sessions to gifted children between the ages of 4 and 16 years old. The course, known as "Development of the Social and Artistic Expression of Gifted Children", was created and developed in part by him and two colleagues, Sara Bahia and Pedro Trindade, as a project for the A.N.E.I.S. (National Association For The Study On Giftedness and Intervention). In 2011, with support from a Portuguese grant (INOV-Art), he arrived in Montreal to intern at Concordia University Television (CUTV). Throughout the duration of the grant, he served as a Production Manager, providing students and members of Montreal communities with the skills necessary to independently create and produce multimedia and audiovisual projects, including coverage of the 2012 Quebec Student Strikes. Following the end of the grant, he was offered a full-time position at Concordia University Television and now serves as a Coordinator. In 2013, he also worked for the Canadian Centre for Architecture to produce "ABC: MTL", a gallery of video interviews with nationally acclaimed visual, industrial and architectural artists. More recently, he was commissioned as the senior editor for "L'Île da Saudade", a documentary about Montreal's Portuguese community and produced as an international collaboration between Canada and Portugal.
