Haris Yosufi

Yosufi was born in Kabul, Afghanistan. He had moved to Sydney, Australia with his mother and brothers family at the age of 12 to live a peaceful life with less environmental worries. Although he had moved to Australia he still and will always have an open heart for his hometown and visits whenever he can. Yosufi is now a proud father of 4, whom he had raised with his loving wife. The director of Emaan, has accomplished many achievements, one of which include: being the winner of 2011s South Asian Film Festival (Canberra Australia) for Best Story and Best Film, where films like '3 Idiots' of India was also nominated in the same category. The film was very successful as it was the first Afghan-produced movie to screen in Australian cinemas. Till this day individuals demand to watch the movie again.
