Ian Fowler was born in Vancouver, Washington but raised in Gastonia, North Carolina. He moved around quite a bit living in small towns like Warrington, Missouri and Boise, Idaho before settling in Portland Oregon. He studied fine art and spent his early career as a painter. In 2016 he made his first feature film Crazy Right for 10 thousand dollars which won the Jury Award for Best Narrative Feature Film at the 10th Annual Festival Angaelica, Best Editing for a Feature Film at the 2017 Covellite International Film Festival, was a Semi Finalist in the 2018 San Mauro Film Festival in Turin, Italy and an Award Winner at the 2017 Headline International Film Festival, Canada. Patrick D. Green (as Paul in Crazy Right) was nominated for 'Best Performance' by UK Film Review '18, alongside Bradley Cooper for A Star is Born and Glenn Close for The Wife. In 2019 he completed his follow up film The Space Between Words, has taken on the role of Program Director for The Covellite International Film Festival and is developing his third feature How To Say Goodbye In 12 Easy Steps.
