Dontez Antonio Hood is an actor and musician known for The Choir Director (2018), Life of a King (2013), The Alexanders (2014), and Ocean's Twelve (2004), soundtrack. He did commercials and plays as a child and, after attending Bancroft Jr. High, a magnet school for performing arts in Hollywood, he was certain a career in the field was in his future. With hip hop growing up alongside him, he was pop locking and breakdancing in the early 80's and made appearances in both Breakin' (1984) and Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo (1984). Hip hop music and the growing culture had more of an influence of him than acting. In the early 90's he joined forces with his good friends and fellow emcees: Kikuo "Key-Kool" Nishi, Daniel "Dannu" Reyes Jr, James "LMNO" Kelly, Alex "2Mex" Ocaña, and DJ Nazareth "Rhettmatic" Nirza of the World Famous Beat Junkies, to form the crew "The Visionaries". In 1995, they made their official appearance on Key-Kool & Rhettmatic's "Kozmonauts" album, then went on to release four full-length albums together. Their song "Love (Hip Hop)" was on the soundtrack of "Ocean's Twelve" in 2004, and another "If You Can't Say Love" was on the soundtrack of video game Blitz: The League (2005).
