Paulina V. Ahlstrom grew up in New York City and studied film directing at the School of Visual Arts, film history at Columbia University, film editing at Yale University and multimedia installations in the Akademie der Künste in Berlin, Germany. She has been actively involved in the arts scene of New York, Berlin and recently Detroit, as a curator of film at the Museum of Multimedia Art in Detroit,working with art personalities like Lawrence Weiner, Noritoshi Hirakawa and with the creative team of Art21 public television program. A gifted artist in drawings, painting, and silkscreening, Paulina has had successful group and solo exhibitions of her art work all over New York. Her passion for film led her into working in production in different stages of involvement - from acting to production design to directing. Paulina lives and works in Los Angeles.
