Claudia is an Australian born actress of Mauritian and Austrian descent. Her mother was born in Mozambique and her father was born in Vienna. She lived in Austria for a few years as child and speaks fluent German. After returning to Melbourne at age 8, Claudia became an ensemble member at the ACTion Youth Theatre and was involved with the annual musical performances. After graduating high school, Claudia took a few years off to travel and then studied at the National Theatre Drama school. In 2017 she also graduated from the 16th Street full time acting program. She has also studied musical theatre with the NIDA open program. Driven by her extreme passion for story, she has featured in a variety of roles in a diverse range of films, television and theatre. Some of her theatre credits include The Crucible as Abigail Williams, the Man who came to Dinner as June Stanley/ Metz at the National Theatre in St Kilda and Seven Jewish Children to name a few. Not only does Claudia enjoy the sheer energy of theatre, she has also studied and practices Ashtanga yoga in both Australia and India.
