Edward J. Martin

Edward J Martin is VP Operations for Best Boy Entertainment, which develops and produces television and film projects for national and international broadcast. BBE has recently expanded into TV distribution and interactive media. Ed attended Memorial University of Newfoundland & Labrador, graduating in 2006 with a Bachelor of Engineering. While in school Ed founded a local chapter of Engineers Without Borders and was recognized for his outstanding leadership qualities and awarded a Silver Medal by the Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Newfoundland & Labrador. Ed joined Best Boy in the summer of 2008 on an internship while completing a Graduate Diploma in Communication Studies from Concordia University. His first assignment with Best Boy was as a writer for Mickey - a preschool television series. He has since acted as Associate Producer and Story Editor for the 2nd season of Mickey and as Producer and Story Editor for the 3rd season. Ed also wrote and produced a 13-part international sports documentary television series, Soccer Shrines for GolTV and MenTV. In addition, he wrote and coordinated the international travel & adventure series Skinny Dip for Travel + Escape and is the Producer and Story Editor on a 13-part docudrama series entitled Pet ER for The Pet Network.
