Michael Thomas Smith

Michael Smith began his media career as a part-time media tech, and eventually was selected as camera operator for special shoots in Florida in 2008. After returning home in 2010, Michael collaborated, directed, and produced a feature-length film in 2010 with a small budget and equipment. The film titled, "Nefarious" (2010), had an exclusive DVD and IMDb distribution. Mr. Smith went on to graduate from SUNY College at Buffalo in the Media Production program, earning a spot on the Communication Honor Society, All-College Honors and earned his BA in 2012. Since then, communication has always been present in creating new film projects with longtime friend and colleague, Daniel Haynes. Starting in 2019 they re-collaborated on short film projects including writing, directing and now acting by Michael.
