Timothy Morris Lane is an actor/director from Cleveland, OH, now residing in New York, NY. He recently graduated from the New York Film Academy's Acting For Film Conservatory where he studied various techniques of acting for the stage and film. Before moving to NYC and studying at NYFA, he lived and worked in the Atlanta market and then later moved to the Los Angeles market as well. This has allowed him to become a very versatile artist and has prepared him to work in all kinds of environments. His film craft teacher at NYFA gave him a critique regarding his character "type," which was that he is a "chameleon." He loved hearing that because it confirmed what he felt about himself, which was that he could play so many different types of roles. This is largely what drew him to the craft. On a more personal note, Timothy has a voracious love of learning. He has studied karate while living and studying Japanese in Tokyo, Japan, sang on Japanese television, traveled around Latin America and Paris to sharpen his Spanish and French, and constantly reads books on various topics. He is also an accomplished singer/songwriter singing background for artists such as David Foster, Bebe Winans, and Rod Stewart, and he is just getting started. "I am very much looking forward to playing all types of characters in my acting career. I believe that acting is a privilege and that it can open the hearts and minds of all who watch and participate in it." The future is so bright and there is much more to come for this rising actor, Timothy Morris Lane.
