Nessa Rodriguez

Nessa Rodriguez is a native New Yorker - born in Manhattan and raised in Brooklyn. After her mother's death at the tender age of 6, Nessa escaped her grief by dressing up and portraying different characters. By losing herself in these fictional lives, Nessa found her passion for acting. She trained at the Raul Julia Training Unit, HB Studios, Actor's Connection, The PIT, Penny Templeton and Abrons Art Center in NYC. Nessa has appeared in a number of short film projects such as So Quiet, Spanish Girls Are Beautiful, Buried Dreams and Leaving home. In 2008, Nessa wrote and starred in the one-woman show The Break Up. She went on to write and starred in two more shows - Coming Out, Again (2010) and Come & Knock on my door (2016).
