Elaysha Wachter

Elaysha "Elfa" Wachter is a makeup artist based out of Kansas City, MO (where she was born and raised). Born to a middle-class family, she found her place in the creative arts in the last year of middle school, finally succumbing to her love of makeup and 3D canvases in her sophomore year of high school at North Kansas City High School in North Kansas City, MO. After a few years of theatre work, unfortunate circumstances led to a break in her career after high school, only to be revived by happenstance. In her part time job as a Certified Wine Specialist and Certified Specialist of Spirits at a local grocery chain, she became friends with noted horror filmmaker Jeff Chitty and began working with the people of the Independent Filmmaker's Coalition (based out of Kansas City). After working as a "minion" for local makeup and effects queen Colleen May, Elfa has branched out taking many jobs on local sets with titles ranging from "Makeup Artist" to "Special Effects" to "Production Assistant." Her main focus is on makeup and its like arts, but takes an interest in being as helpful as possible on sets, including taking on roles such as props master and production assistant.
