Radhika Vipin Mehta (known professionally as Radha Mehta) is of East-Indian descent born in Kankakee, Illinois to Vipin Mehta, a civil engineer, and Hansa Mehta, a nurse technician. They moved from Illinois to Orlando, Florida where her parents reside. Radha lives bi-coastal, between Los Angeles and Orlando. Radha and her brother, Ravindra Mehta (known professionally as Rave' Mehta) produce, compose, and write music together under the stage name of Renaiszance formed in 2012. They released their debut album 'RISE' in 2013 as an ode to famous yet obscure inventor, Nikola Tesla. Their title track "I Will Rise" was based on the true story of Nikola Tesla and the graphic novel "The Inventor" created and written by Rave' Mehta. They performed internationally, including in Serbia at the Main Stage in EXIT Festival on Nikola Tesla's birthday. Radha is also a solo artist, songwriter, composer, and actress and frequently sings the National Anthem at various NBA games. She graduated with three degrees (Computer Science, Economics, Business & Marketing Management) from Duke University, and earned an MBA graduate degree from Kellogg School of Management of Northwestern University.
