Philip John Buena

Philip John M. Buena or Philip Buena, was born in Santiago Bato, Camarines Sur. And grew up in Pasig City. The front man of indie pop rock band Corvus Mind. They are one of the important names in the music scene in Asia. He started as P.A. in Joel Lamangan's film "Sagrada Familia" under the supervision of Hai Balbuena. He became one of the best Production manager in Cinemalaya. Niño,Bisperas,Amok, Ekstra, Requieme, Oros are some of the films under his management. Later on took a menthorship for directing under Direk Wenn Deramas where he work as a 2nd Assistant Director, while training as a director. Galema TV show under ABS CBN, Wang Fam under Viva films and Beauty and the Beastie under StarCinema are some of the projects he worked with blockbuster director Wenn Deramas. Now Philip Buena is directing some music videos, shortfilms and corporate avp's honing his skills before he make a full length film.
