Dimitris Katsimiris was born and raised in Rhodes. He has studied and worked as a social worker. In recent years he lives and works in Athens as a writer and director in theater and cinema. He has written two theatrical plays and he has directed the award-winning short films Birthday (2016) and 'Mum, I'm back (2017).
