Dominick LaRuffa III was born in Brooklyn, New York, on November 30, 1989. He established a reputation as an in-demand "crossover" actor with roots across multiple disciplines. He recently Guest Stared on the long running legal drama "Bull" (CBS/Paramount+) and will be recurring in second season of audience favorite crime drama "Gravesend" (Amazon). He co-starred in Martin Scorsese's "The Irishman", starring Robert Deniro, Al Pacino, Harvey Keitel and Joe Pesci. Dominick co-starred opposite Sean Hayes in the comedy, Lazy Susan (2019) co-written by Mr. Hayes, also starring Allison Janney, Margo Martindale and Mathew Broderick. Dominick played the young male lead in John Gallagher's seriocomic coming of age drama "Sarah Q" starring Emmy James, Burt Young, Sally Kirkland, Vincent Pastore and Tony Sirico, earning him critical praise across a myriad of prestigious festivals. In 2018 he starred in the short films "Compliance", "Want" and "Wink" which have been recognized with multiple awards across the festival circuit including, Best Drama, Best Sci-Fi Film, and Best Actor. His theatrical accomplishments include Off-Broadway appearances in; How Alfio Learned to Love, My Big Gay Italian Midlife Crisis, My Big Gay Italian Wedding, My Big Gay Italian Funeral, Spring Awakening and dozens more. As a Broadway co-producer, his body of work includes All The Way (Tony Award), You Can't Take It With You (Tony Nomination), On The Town (Tony Nomination), An American in Paris (Tony Nomination), Deaf West Theatre's Revival of Spring Awakening (Tony Nomination), The Realistic Joneses, China Doll starring Al Pacino, Six Degrees of Separation (Tony Nomination), American Son (starring Kerry Washington), The Lifespan of a Fact (starring Daniel Radcliffe, Cherry Jones, and Bobby Cannavale), 2019's lauded revival of Betrayal (starring Tom Hiddleston, Zawe Ashton, and Charlie Cox) and 2022's The Kite Runner (starring The Blacklist's Amir Arison), based on the global sensation novel of the same name. He has been married to Emily LaRuffa of Danny Meyer's Union Square Hospitality Group, since April 6, 2019 they have one daughter. BFA Acting, Pace University.
