Coming from a solid background in theatre and performing since the age of four, Kabir is one of Australia's rawest talents. Born on 25 January, 1992 in Delhi, India ; Kabir and his family migrated to Australia at the age of ten. Always partaking in school plays and drama being his favourite class, Kabir went on to study a Business law degree at Macquarie university of which he dropped out after only eight months to pursue his true passion as an actor at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and film Institute in New York City. Having appeared in countless films , advertisements and off Broadway productions in India, USA and Australia ; Kabir played the leading role in the feature film "One less god" which is based on the Mumbai bombings and kidnapping of hostages in the Taj Hotel in 2008. The film enjoyed a limited release around Australia, India, Japan, USA and UK on October 2018 and Kabir was also shortlisted for best supporting actor for the AACTA awards 2018 . Also in the pipeline for a January 2020 worldwide release is the psychological horror "Aiyai - A wrathful soul" shot in Brisbane. Kabir helms the film with a lead role for which he lost 20kgs to portray the possessed character. The film is directed by first time director Ilanthirayan Alan Arumugam. Kabir has done commercials for brands such a Holden Colorado, Commonwealth bank, Bumble, Tinder, Jabong, Myntra, MTV, Himalaya, Airtel, M-seal among many others. Also a screen writer and aspiring director, Kabir understands the fundamentals behind a character's motivations and how this serves as a central component in telling a story well, of which rudimentary traits have become his primary acting tool. Having an acute art of portraying a character with true intensity, his rich, versatile and methodical approach to breathing life into his characters with such intensity has Kabir reputed as a natural and unique talent.
