Elvire Emanuelle is an Actress known for her debut lead role as Mo in the feature film,, First Match (2018), produced by Netflix. First Match was written and directed by Olivia Newman and produced by Bryan Unkeless, Chanelle Elaine and Veronica Nickel. First Match premiered in the Narrative Feature competition at SXSW 2018, winning the Audience Choice Award, winning the Luna Gamechanger Award and being nominated for the Grand Jury Award. Elvire's performance impressed audiences with media noting her as a "Breakout," and "Rising Star". Born of Haitian immigrants, Elvire took the path less chosen because of her unshakeable love for storytelling. Her first Actor's Equity Association role was The Girl in Dania Gurira's play, Eclipsed performed at The Women's Theatre Project, earning her that year's New Times' Best Supporting Actress Award. After self-submitting for First Match, she is now represented by Creative Artists Agency. Elvire is pronounced ehl-veer. Elvire's training is from noted acting teacher, Wynn Handman, who she attributes much of her work to.
