Eyrún Ósk Jónsdóttir

In 2005 Eyrun Osk Jonsdottir graduated with a BA (hons) in European Theatre Arts from Rose Bruford College (UK) 2005. Two years later she finished her Masters in Theatre and Media for Development from Winchester University (UK) in 2007 Eyrun has developed a portfolio carrier as a writer, performer, director and drama teacher. She has written various plays that have been performed both in Iceland and the UK. She has published two poem books and one novel. From 2006-2008 she ran the theatre space Jadarleikhusid; in Hafnarfjordur. She was also a member of the theatre group Dan Kai Teatro from 2004. Since 2007 Eyrun has worked with film maker Helgi Sverrisson, but together they wrote and directed L7 Hrafnar, soleyjar og myrra. Eyrun lives in the town of Hafnarfjordur in Iceland.
