Yumi Kaguya

A Pennsylvania native, Yumi has studied dance and ballet for over 25 years. She has spent her summers at the prestigious Boston Ballet studying under Devon Carney, Finis Jhung, and Donna Silva, and performed with Rotaru Ballet and Atlanta Ballet under the direction of John McFall in Atlanta. Her repertoire ranges from classics such as "Swan Lake" to contemporary-modern works of Balanchine and Martha Graham. Upon graduating New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, Yumi pursued her career in Tokyo at the world reknowned Shiki Theatre Company. She performed in many of the company's original works and Broadway productions, including "Wicked". She has also been a part of the translation team for Tokyo's version of "Spring Awakening". Yumi lives in California continuing to explore her career and abilities, while sharing her knowledge to aspiring performers.
