Nina Ruiz

Nina Ruiz was born Laura Anastasia Ruiz to parents Jose and Carmen. She was raised in the Bronx as the middle child of five. Nina got the acting bug at a very early age. She first performed on stage while in the third grade and loved it. She later performed in several school plays such as "Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" and "Grease". She also joined chorus in school and would sing and dance in talent shows. At age 14, she participated in her first film,"Zombiez" where she played a zombie. Moving her way into modeling, Nina found great opportunity with videos, commercials, events, and print. She attended The Art Institute for Fashion in Tribeca. She is now focusing on her acting career.
