Simultaneously, he worked as a documentary filmmaker for History and Discovery Channel, covering topics such as the refugee crisis (Seeking Asylum, 2010) or the assassination of political leaders (El asesinato de Aramburu, 2011). He's also had a vast experience as an Assistant Director in films such as Los Dueños (Argentina), which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival 2013, and as a screenwriter for films and TV. He developed the story for the film Leones (Argentina, Netherlands, France, 2012), which premiered at the Venice Film Festival; and he was a narrative consultant for the film Kekzsakallu (Netherlands, France, Argentina), which premiered at the same festival in 2016. While still living in Argentina, he was staffed as a TV writer in three shows: Un año para recordar (A Year to Remember, 2011), as script supervisor; La Asombrosa Excursion de Zamba (Zamba's Amazing Excursion, 2014-2016), an animated show that was nominated for an Emmy award in 2014 and won a Martin Fierro award in 2016, as a writer; and Siesta Z (2017), which was selected as the Argentinian representative to the Power to the Pixel conference in London, also as a writer. He has lived in Argentina, Spain, Finland and currently in the United States, and he has taught Screenwriting and Film Analysis in Universidad del Cine (Buenos Aires), Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona), TAMK University (Tampere, Finland) and UCLA, which chose him as a delegate at the Telluride Film Festival in 2017 and at the Cinemacon conference in Las Vegas in 2018.
